"Honey, I'm home!"

Much to my surprise, the immature female (I think) red-tailed hawk I've been photographing will now fly to the field just to the north of the abandoned orchard to mouse and fly back. I switched from the 500 to the 300 2.8 VR plus TC-14E to accommodate her wingspan. Unfortunately, due to the low light and poor contrast I needed f5.6 at ISO 800. When the snow is gone I hope to do better.
