Canon's bad luck

I was a happy owner of 1DII for many years and was itchy to upgrade. But I was not quite happy with 1 dIII, that had only 10MP and soon AF problem. It just happened that at this critical time for Canon, Nikon finally got it really right with D3. So it was double whammy for Canon. Poor product (1DIII) and strong competitor at the same time. I was one of those jumpers to Nikon.
