Is this refurb Mac Pro Nehalem worth the investment?

I am a student who does heavy mutli-media work (FCP, PS, LR etc), I've a Apple LED Cinema display,

I am hoping those audio bugs and anyother bugs ppl are talking abt these days which afflict the Nehalem Mac Pros won't be found in a refurb model?
