A200 LCD problem

Hi,

I recently acquired an A200, "as-is", in need of LCD screen. I bought a screen and installed it.
It seems to work sort of OK for menus, but not the greatest:

Camera takes photos just fine, but they don't display properly on LCD:

I've tried formatting my CF card in camera, using different CF card. No luck. Any ideas? Is it likely to be a bad LCD?
Any thoughts from the technical minded would be appreciated.
