Should I buy new 5d mk I or new 5d mk II?

I am thinking about pulling the trigger and upgrading.....I hear so many people liking the 5d or the 5d II when it comes to pure image quality. I will be shooting off a camera stand so fast focus is not a concern. I have found a few places where they still have a few new 5d's in stock. Can you give me any compelling reasons to buy a 5d over the 5d II in terms of image quality or is my information all wrong. Thanks
