Good ol' SMC M135/3.5 takes out the prize

This morning, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that an image I shot using my smc PENTAX-M 1:3.5 135mm took out first prize in the "Walking" challenge on DPreview.

Even though mine is more than 20 years old ( I picked it up on ebay for about $40 about 2 years ago), it constantly delivers fantastic results (at f/4 and smaller aperture). It is one of my fave lenses.

If you are looking for a cheap, compact short to medium telephoto, then you'd be hard pressed to get more bang per buck than this lens and I strongly suggest you give it a try
