Aperture 3 and color management...

Is aperture a color managed program like photoshop and lightroom?...seems the colors I'm getting on my wide gamut NEC monitor are extremely saturated and neon and not at all color managed...

I use the big monitor to do all my adjustments...

any way to regulate/adjust this in aperture?...
