Anyone has experience with SB-8a and SB900?

I have 5 x SB-800 with SD-8As and recently purchased my first SB-900. I'd hate to spend $200 for the SD-9 if I don't have to. Can anyone offer experience using the SB-900 with the SD-8a (problems, speed compared to SD-9) etc?
