red-tailed hawk with a straw issue

On my way out of Fifty Point late one afternoon I ran into the big immature red-tailed. I grabbed the D300s/300 f2.8 VR/Tamron 1.4x SP combo and took a few shots handheld. Unfortunately, he just couldn't dislodge this fiber from his beak and eventually flew off in a temper. 1/200 f5 @ ISO 400.
