Washed out pictures with E-520

I have a problem, sometimes my pictures looks washed out. The black areas in the image becomes grey and I have to fix it in Photoshop (autolevels). Anyone recognize this problem and have a quick fix for this? I shoot jpegs and default settings (natural picture mode).
