old nikon lenses

I am planning to purchase a D300s or D700, dunno yet

I still have lenses which I used on a Nikon F or Nikkormat (remember ? that was 40 years ago !)

Does anybody know if I can use those old lenses on a modern body ? Of course I do not expect to have AF !
