Jump from 30D to 7D anyone?

I'd really like to go with something like the Mk III or IV, but not sure that's in the cards right now.........some day. Unless I can find a used Mk III

But with that, has anyone made the jump from a 30D to the 7D?

I shoot indoor sports and dance a lot and can get by pretty good with the 30D, but wondering if their is much of a noise difference between the two? The one comparison that I saw (I think on here), which apparently wasn't a good comparison right up left me thinking that there wasn't much difference. But like I said, some people didn't like the comparison shots.
