1) Poor contrast
2) Manual focus
3) Fixed aperture
4) Fixed focal length

There is also no-IS but this may be a non-issue for other brands that have sensor based IS in the body...

If you really want one, there are a few companies that still make 500mm-600mm MF mirror lenses. For longer focal lengths, you can use a refractor telescope with T-mount adapter.
