What type of light setup used here?

I am fairly new to studio lighting and wish to know what type of light was used here to light the model.
From what I can see, the light was placed 45° towards the camera above her head pointing straight at her. I can also see from the shadow of her hand that there is no diffusion in the light. I guess that there was also a reflector used in from of the model to remove some of the shadows caused by the main light.
Is the light used purely some open un-diffused form of light? What is an example of such a light and how would I recognise it if I walk into a camera store?
Any insight is appreciated. Thanks.
