Looking for a tripod for 7D...

I'm thinking of getting a Manfrotto 190XPROB tripod with a 322RC2 pistol grip. Can anyone tell me if this is "enough" tripod for the 7D? I am just an avid amateur so I don't need a true professional set-up. I would like to use it both in and out doors though, if that changes anything.
