The D90 is on my very short list of DSLRs that I am considering. T1i is the other. Like many others I'm lazy and just want one lens. I'll just be doing general photography. I realize from the review on this site that there are lots of problems with this lens like distortion, midrange softness etc. due the the wide range. I want great pics that really pop out. Will I get great pics with this combo or will I be dissapointed. Can these problems be fixed by software? My son-in-law has an Oly 620 with a short and long zoom and I have to get much better pics than him to justify twice the price
