When will we see the new Canon 2000d (T1)?

Since canon pull out of the PMA in Feb to concentrate on the Jan CES show, I have expected an announcement of Canon 2000d/T1 for the average consumers. Well, the show is almost over and so far......Big Fat Nothing.

Not that canon1000d/XS is in NEED of an update, but isn't 18 months cycle about to be over? I was really hoping to see an updated XS/1000d with bigger 3" LCD + 720p HD video.

My wish list

• Bigger viewfinder from 450d(XSi)

• 10mp is fine, 12mp is great, but I don't want 15mp. Keep it low

• iso3200 from 500d

• 9 points AF upgrade

• 720p HD video

• improved dynamic range

• Some kind of HDR mode would be nice

• $599 with 18-55 IS kit lens

• $499 Body Only Option (not available with current XS)

Unrealistic wish list

• Wireless flash trigger from 7D

• Electronic Leveling display from 7D - this feature should be in every canon dslr
