Avoid Saneal Camera in Calgary

Purchased 480 ex II from them two days ago. It is defective right out of the box. My mistake for not testing it in store.

Tried to return it told that they cannot accept returns on defective items and told that I have to deal with Canon Canada. The person I was speaking to told me that Canon doesn't let them return defective merchandise which is BS. I called the main store and got the same answer.

Funny how The Camera Store and Vistek are able to do exchanges but not them. I called The Camera Store to verify their policy. I'll deal with them from now on. I usually do but was in a hurry and couldn't get downtown.

I don't want a defective piece of electronics equipment whether Canon fixes it or not.

Long story short, generally good prices, horrible return policy.
