Tokina l00mm Pro D Macro vs Canon 100mm

I have been looking at getting a macro sometime in the near future and have decided that I want a 100mm lens for sure. I also want something that will produce very sharp photos and I know that the Canon is highly capable of doing so, however I was wondering how the Tokina compares to the Canon in macro and portrait aspects.

Does anyone here have samples from the Tokina that you could share?
