JPEG2000 Support in Photoshop CS3 (Windows)

Does Photoshop CS3 (Windows) support import of JPEG2000 lossless images? I used Irfanview with the Luratech plug-in to compress losslessly a 170MB TIFF file to about 32MB to send for printing but the printing company said that its CS3 (Windows) couldn't open the JP2 file; I test-opened the file fine in Elements 3.x and it opened fine. I wanted the printing company to be able to edit the file, if needed, which is why I avoided JPEG.
Does CS3 (Windows) support lossless JPEG2000? If so, how does one open a lossless JP2 file in CS3 (Windows)?
Any assistance is appreciated.
