and thats exactly what I have done, my Quantum gear is working perfectly, its following instructions, as the code was written for it to do. And is being confirmed with engineering. I can't thank you enough for helping me figure out how to operate it correctly by your suggestive testing sequence.

Kevin,

Your workaround is apparently unnecessary according to QuantumHelp - however, you confirm that it IS necessary.

Therefore:

Your Quantum gear ISN'T working perfectly, OTHERWISE you wouldn't need to use a workaround.

Quantum are saying your workaround isn't necessary and you are saying it is. What is it to be?

I would tend to agree with Quantum Help that you should just be able to use QTTLwR (if you ever wanted to), and it should just work. It has been pointed out however BY YOU, (after confering with Quantum) that unless you go to Advanced Multi Mode and set your remote groups to Remote Wireless 1 and Remote Wireless 2 to TTL. QTTLwR DOESN'T WORK.

As if this wasn't frustrating enough as it is

The WHOLE point is that the TRIO should just work as every other professional flash does. There should be no need for workarounds but apparently they are definately required.

According to your quote above EVEN Quantum Engineering are into confirming it's required... ?

And is being confirmed with engineering.

Either somebody, somewhere doesn't have a clue what they're talking about, or somebody is dealing a load of BS.

Theres only one sun. Why do I need more than one light to get a natural result?
