Thank you for your reply regarding the tethering of my Mac Powerbook to the Lumix FZ20 and I have already done that. I can view the photo that I've taken in IPhoto and that is great. However, I was hoping to be able to PREVIEW the composition for lighting, coloration and composition before the shot. My understanding of your post is - that capability would have to be built into the Panasonic firmware. Is that correct? However, I'm wondering if there is a 3rd party software that can see what I see in the viewfinder or LCD - LIVE....I would think that it would be possible since the image in the LCD is already digitized.
