New Pro9000MKII bad printhead

last week bought a new printer from amazon, though its printing only group 2 colors (C Y M) from the day 1

Group 1 colors (BK R G PC PM) are not printing at all, did nozzle check, cleaning,deapcleaning nothing worked...

Called customer support and after verification routine they suspected printhead is bad and they are sending a replacement head free by tomorrow...

This is my first time buying a printer, not sure if its a common issue and replacing bad printhead will resolve the issue?

Just wanna make sure that its not an issue where I better be asking new replacement printer from Amazon?
