85-400 vr + 1.4 tc

Does anyone have any experience of the 400 vr + 1.4tc combination on the s2? I know the Canon D60 and 400 + tc works okay and this is an important factor in deciding which way to go for my kind of photography. Any feedback good or bad is welcome.
