S9 or G11? Which killer feature made you decide?

I imagine anyone who has purchased a S90 or G11 will have also considered the other. So what made you decide? I exclude size and weight from this query.

The two are more alike than different in many key features.

For me, bizarrely you may think, it is the stepped zoom you can associate with the ring function. I hate powered zooms. They are mostly, slow imprecise and drain the battery as you buzz in and out. The S90 gives you 5 precise focal lengths so no hunting. It is like have 5 prime lenses readily available although without the extra quality.
