Will canon 450D software interfere with 7D software?

I am thinking of adding a canon 7D camera body to my arsenal....I am currently using a 450 D....but I do not necessarily want to gt rid of it. Will the software from 1 interfere with the other? The photo numbering? Will each camera put it's files into separate areas? ANyone know? If so...is there a way around it?
