PocketWizards and older Minolta flashguns - Is it possible?

Hi all,

A quick question to all members that deal with strobes or any other member that is able to help me.

I saved enough money to invest into 3-4 Pocketwizard transceivers. What is keeping me from doing so is that i am not sure if the pocketwizards will work with the older Minolta 4000AF flashguns. I know for sure that they will work with my Alpha and the 42AM flashgun. However since i am also using 2x Minolta 4000AF i would like to be certain that they will serve their purpose.
If not, what other wireless triggering system would be a possible choice?

I am currently working with some cheap ebay triggers but i started getting fed up with misfires and range limitations
