Three days in Stockholm. Why upgrade from 40D to 7D?

Spent three days of shooting with the 40D in Stockholm in September.

7D was just released at that time. I looked at specs and read some users reports and want to upgrade. But when I walked on the streets of Stockholm and took pictures, and than when I looked at the results at home, I never had a thought that I was somehow limited by the camera.

I still want to upgrade to 7D for better macro/birding results, but for anything else I'm very happy with 40D, so I'll wait while 7D price drops.
