Lens choices and growing up

When I was younger, I bought consumer grade and third party zooms.

As I got older I sold the zooms and I bought a few primes, again mainly third party.

Then digital came along and I bought pro quality Nikon zooms, including DX.

Then I sold them and started to collect secondhand Nikkor manual focus primes.

Today I have 8 lenses. Only 1 is a zoom. Only 2 autofocus. I have never been happier with my glass

Make a choice, get good glass, and stick with it. One day all DSLRs will be equal. And that day is soon.
