Re: VRII ???

On an FX body, a 200mm should be handholdable at 1/200 for most shooters. VRII means 4 stops adventage, so... 1/100 is 1stop, 1/50 are 2stops, 1/25 are 3 stops, 1/13 are 4 stops. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I read that this lens has VRII built in.

On the new Nikon 70-200 lens VRII seems to perform like a miracle. A blogger claimed that shooting 200mm @1/50 and more is possible.

Consider what this means at only 85mm. Probably 1/20 should be possible.

This is definitely a reason to buy this lens. And whining about the difference of f3.5 to f2.8 is really ridiculous. Increase ISO for a half stop and that's it.

I'll check this lens out when available.
