I told them, as Bill English had, that the camera needed cleaning - that the sensor was dirty.

the rep said the program was for repairs...and then I told her of Bill's experience and asked about the Loyalty Program and was given the option for the 50D.

I could have called about my XT because that camera, as well, needs a cleaning.

As a matter of fact, the red wouldn't budge on the 20D deal because the paper work had already been done and serial number recorded, but she did say I could send the XT in and get another refurb of my choice, including the 50D if I wished.
