i post this to recall what photography is - the enjoyment of a visual image.

what cam took this? WHO CARES ? what ISO, aperture, shutter speed? ditto.

here is the most rare and, arguably, most powerful engine ever produced in this nation, looking exactly as it did the day it was brand new; the holy grail, for those of us that are into it. beauty, you see, is in the eye of the beholder.

in our physical lives, we serve things. i have to buy this thing, or... i have to find this little thing, or... things have a way of making you suffer.

cameras are no exception. to me, a camera is an irritation - a thing i must first buy, then serve, in order to achieve what is above - a beautiful (if you're into it) image.

have things (called cameras) taken you over? have you forgotten what you are doing? (i.e. trying to create beauty) don't tell me. tell you .)
