New LX3! First post... and a photo

Hi all,

I recently bought an LX3 online from The Camera Store in Alberta. Needless to say, I love it. I'm using to shooting with Pentax DSLRs but felt it was finally time to get a compact (my first ever). It's great having a tiny camera with such excellent ergonomics and control. I'm still getting used to the limitations in image quality compared to the bigger sensors... but having a good time doing it.

I also do quite a bit of Strobist-ing and had the chance to try out the LX3 with my Cybersync system and a couple of Vivitar 285s at a wedding this past weekened. It worked perfectly

Anyway, here's a shot from yesterday. It was shot in RAW and edited in Lightroom with distortion correction in PTLens. 24mm equiv. f/8, ISO 80.
