Eos 5DII - Remove of Anti-Aliasingfilter?
Oct 6, 2009
|
Hello out there
I've got a Eos 5D MKII with some L-Lenses and Leica R-Lenses with adapter and I'm actually really happy with it. I think it's really a good camera.
Nevertheless sometimes I'm missing some sharpness - especially when printing in sizes like 90x60 cm or even larger. The prints in size 30x45 cm are really well.
Some times ago I've read that some D-SLR Cameras as the Kodak DCS-14 or the Rangefinder Leica M8 have no Anti-Aliasingfilter or the new Nikon D3x has a very weak one.
Some companys as for example http://www.maxmax.com removes this filter for about USD 450.--
Actually I'm a fanatic guy quality-wise.
What do you think. Is it worth to think about or will I cause problems?
Thanks for your comments and reccommendations.
