500D Colour space?

What are the pros & cons of using AdobeRGB vs sRGB with the 500D?

I am thinking that AdobeRGB is better if I'd like to print pictures snapshots from JPG eventually.

When I am taking photos that I know I will consider for print i do use RAW+JPG anyway, but when just doing everyday social photos i just pick JPG.

I use LR2.5 for the work-flow, and sometimes PP. Sometimes I export shrunk snapshots for web-publishing or to mail people, should i convert those to sRGB too then?
