NEC 2690wuxi2 calibration

Dear All,
Just taken delivery of a NEC 2690wuxi2 and want to calibrate it. I have an eye one 2 for calibration but the monitor has a sharpness setting that I don't know what to do with. What I have done was set custom mode 1 and then calibrated the RGB values. It is just the sharpness thing that is bugging me.
I am using a mac pro
Can anyone offer any help.
