[Lx3 FW2.0] Why disable the orientation sensor in 1:1 mode ?
Oct 1, 2009

I just get used to shoot in Portrait orientation for about 70% of pictures I took.
So I'm so used to the handling of Lx3 in portrait orientation with one hand.

For single hand operation, it's much easier to hold the camera vertically for me because I don't have to counter the torque applied by the weight of camera itself ...

Sadly I found the orientation sensor is disabled in 1:1 shooting mode, which means I have to rotate many of my pictures manually, which is quite irritating.

Is there any sensible reason for disabling the orientation sensor when shooting 1:1 ?
