I've been requested to do numerous photos in B&W
Oct 1, 2009

Subject....3 children.

The types of photo setting...some action/climbing/walking type shots as individuals. Not athletic shots and some still candids and a few group shots to choose from.

I'll be using an A700 and have the CZ 85 1.4, the Sony 100 Macro 2.8, and a Beercan to use...as well as a Minolta 1.7 50. I also have the CZ 16-80 but wouldn't think it best here.

Which lens: and should I shoot raw as I normally do and make B&W conversions in LR, or shoot B&W in camera jpegs, or shoot raw but use the B&W preset within the camera?

I've converted some to Gray-Scale in LR, but never shot a number of photos in B&W on purpose.

Any constructive thoughts would be appreciated. The ultimate goal is some 8x10's and larger for matting and framing.
