Horrible vignetting when using telephoto/wide angle lens attachments
Oct 1, 2009

About a week ago I purchased a Panasonic GH1, to replace the Canon PowerShot G2 I had used for over 6 years. The GH1 has been back-ordered for months, so I purchased it (new) from a seller on eBay. The seller bundled in a bunch of stuff with the order (5yr accidental damage warranty, backpack case, UV/CPL/F filters, mini tripod, lens cleaning kit, screen protectors, 9 in 1 card reader, 16GB class 6 SDHC, hard case, medium size tripod, .45x wide angle, 2x telephoto, extra battery). All of this was included for less than $200 over the MSRP of the camera.

Anyways, I haven't used the camera a lot yet but so far I absolutely love it. My problems are with the Wide Angle and the Telephoto lenses. Here are links to the lenses they included:

Here's how pictures look when I shoot with the lenses:

Are these lenses just completely useless, or am I missing something? Is this how these lenses are supposed to work? I'm pretty much completely new to the world of interchangeable lens cameras, but it seems to me that these lenses are not proper for the Panasonic GH1 lens...

Thanks for your help!
