Sample 7D Shots - ISO 100-6400
Sep 28, 2009

Here are some sample shots I took this afternoon. Sorry I am not a professional photographer so the pictures might not be up to your standards, but they are real shot comparisons from ISO 100-6400 from a 2 year amature photographer. These were right out of the camera JPG, no post processing at all. I have the raw version that I will also convert and post soon. You can download original and compare for your self.

My personal impressions:

Big improvement over my 40D & 50D, the autofocus is amazing so far, LCD screen is clean and sharp, Body is solid, feels like 5D MKII, New view finder is bright and very clean, Button Layout is best of the EOS line, Menu little more advanced than 50D, I actually have to read the manual to figure out all the settings. Took me a while to figure out how to setup zone focus. I think up to ISO 3200 its very clean and even 6400 is quite nice.. but let you judge for yourself.
