Ring Flash suggestions anyone?

Can anyone recommend a decent (and AHEM) affordable ring flash for use with a Canon XSi? I've seen a couple of designs out there...some that plug into and are powered through the flash boot, and some that involve cables etc...seems like I have yet to find one that the reviews are satisfactory on.
