Bird slomo with the 7D's 60 fps
Sep 14, 2009

It took me a while to figure out how to come out with a 24 fps footage using a 60 fps capture (effectively a slomo at 40% of normal speed), this being my first time to use this frame rate.

Tough to do it by trial and error, as each render even of a brief portion of the clip takes some time to complete. But I finally got it going.... so here's sharing an 85 sec footage of the Blue-throated Bee-eater whose still photo I posted earlier in another 7D thread. Its perch was swaying in the wind. I used my vehicle as a blind, and a bean bag aided by IS for the 7D + 500 f4 + 1.4x.
