Bee-eater with a pre-prod 7D

My field test of a pre-production 7D was marred by a weather disturbance in our islands. It rained intermittently yesterday, and the whole day today. I was able to squeeze in just a few BIFs and some stills.

Here's sharing a Blue-tailed Bee-eater ( Merops philippinus ) from yesterday.

Canon 7D (pre-prod.) + 500 f4 L IS + Canon 1.4x TC, bean bag, EXIF intact and conversions settings indicated in the original size photo (note that this is unprocessed, with zero sharpening in DPP).

Link to the full size version (warning - 2.7 MB size)
