Diagram of new AF system for Sony A7XX series

Rumor: this new AF system from Sony will be part of the new Alpha 7xx series. Here is what my source was able to recollect:

■9 square AF marks
■all simple cross
■central double cross (like A 700 and A 900)
■10 linear (not selectable or visible) AF assistant
■all sensors f/4 (yes, no f/5.6)
■central sensor f/2.8
