Except music CDs can be "ripped" with out quality degradation noticeable to most listeners. If you sell 11x14 prints, good luck finding a scanner that can accept that size and then all the dust on the scanner glass and print that would have to be painstakingly healed/cloned out.

Plus you don't have image sharing sights where people search out for certain photos like they do for songs. People host their images mainly for sharing with friends and family, but it's nothing like music sharing sites. And music is extremely popular with the impressionable 12 to 21 age group. Music is far more popular than fine art photography as for its demand.
