Pre ordered 7D last week, 40D died yesterday (Err99)

I’m really anxious to get my hands on a 7D now as my 40D is going to have to go off for repair, seems like shutter has failed at around an estimated 30K actuations (Err99) mirror flips then long pause before it returns. I’ve tried all the obvious fixes, changed batteries, lens (cleaned contacts), CF card. Anybody have any other suggestions to try to clear error before I send camera off for repair?

In the meantime I guess I’ll have to make do with my D-Lux 4 and SX1.
