I have the update on my G10...

Just chance, i was working on one photo at high resolution & noticed the noted "line problem"....See attached...I can't see that kind of line being anything other than the noted problem. However, from reading about it on this thread alone suggests to me that Canon doesn't actaully KNOW how to fix the problem!?!
