ZS3/TZ7 underexposing in indoor flash?

I just bought a ZS3 and did a few comparison shots with my TZ5. The ZS3 underexposes by about +1/3 ev compared to the TZ5 in indoor flash. Have other people experienced this? Not a big deal since I can dial in the compensation, but I was curious to hear other peoples experiences.
