Japanese Sony DSLR question

A couple of years ago I was staying in Tokyo for several months and wanted to buy an A700, but I discovered that unlike the Canon, Nikon, etc. DSLRs the A700 only had Japanese in the menu. You could not select a different language such as English. See my thread about this from 2007:

I will be going back to Japan soon and will again probably be there for a few months. I am somewhat interested in the A850. My question for anyone in Japan is do the recent Sony DSLRs (A900, A850, A550, A500, A380, etc.) allow you to switch the menu language?
