SMUGMUG downtimes

I am fed up with Smugmug

After being down for around 8 separate occasions during August, September started well with yet more down time (till about 15:30 gmt) earlier today

I am tired of the excuses, (even the well documented web status site) and know of no other web service where “weekly maintenance”, “regular maintenance” & “scheduled maintenance” and leave UK users with no service at all for hours on end

Perhaps the downtime is less noticeable in the USA

I am sure that the Smugmug “Support Super Heroes” and perhaps even the “Chief Geek” would defend this downtime but I have to wonder at the technical competence of those behind the scenes and the smug (but well documented) attitude to downtime

Enough is enough

What are the more reliable alternatives?
